- Surprisingly effective hand held massager Review by ken92111
primarily for the neck and scalp Quite powerful on 2 AA batteries with both full and pulse modes available. Looks nifty too. A friend of mine picked it up and asked where I got the mini WiFi speaker. (Posted on 1/21/14)
- Pretty Good Handheld Massager Review by Dustin Spires
Out of the box: After getting the Arc out of the packaging, I proceeded to insert the batteries (not included) which was easily done via a small battery door on the bottom of the Arc. The power button is located on top of the Arc and is activated by simply pressing in to turn on and holding down to turn off. Pressing the power button after the Arc has been turned on allows you to cycle though the 6 vibration modes.
Initial Impression: My first use of the Arc delivered expected results. The Arc has a decent amount of vibration, some mode more so than others. The Arc will cycle though each mode at an even time interval and will continue to cycle until turned off. It does not appear that you can lock in a desired mode, which may be a con to some (this is a non issue to me as I kind of like the rotaion of modes).
Comparison to Zyllion Pod: The pod and the arc are two different designs and are really designed to be used on different areas of the body. I find the pod to be better for pin point massaging like elbow and knees, but also enjoyable on the back and shoulders. The Arc offers several different vibrating modes (6 to be exact), and the design is better suited for larger areas or in the end of your arms, knees, shoulders and neck. I used the Arc on my back also, but preferred the round plate of the egg for my back.
Overall thoughts: Factoring in the the buy one get one promotion from Zyllion I think this is a ""Pretty Good"" product. I rated 4 stars simply because I would like a little more power out of the vibration on both products. With that said I would recommend either/both product to anyone looking for a handheld massager at a reasonable price. (Posted on 1/21/14)
